MODULE 1 – LEARNING OUTCOMES (TEFL Course)

At the end of this module:

  • Trainees will be able to identify some of the differences between EFL and ESL contexts.
  • Trainees will be able to identify some of the differences between, and advantages/disadvantages of, teaching young learners, adolescents and adults.
  • Trainees will be able to identify appropriate lesson objectives for different levels based on an understanding of the Common European Framework (CEF).
  • Trainees will have understood some of the principles underlying adult learning.
  • Trainees will have read about different methodologies for teaching English.
  • Trainees with any level of experience, including teachers in training will be able to improve their knowledge of English grammar and their ability to use it with confidence.
